Born Mossel Bay, South Africa. Father Anglican Minister, mother a nurse, 3 siblings, Richard, Melanie & Stephen (died @ 21). Grew up in Riversdale & Graaff-Reinet. High School: Union High & St Andrew's College. One year in Air Force (military service). University: Rhodes. Then Bible Institute of SA. Further studies London University & Unisa as external student. Worked in Jhb for 13 yrs, met my wife, married, 4 children. Ordained end 1989 & into ministry in Pinetown & Durban North/Umhlanga for 7 yrs. Then called to lecture fulltime at George Whitefield College, Muizenberg, Cape Town. Also church planted Muizenberg Community Church 1999-2008 & minister-in-charge most of that time.
