I was raised in Puyallup, then set off on a journey traveling the world before settling back down here in Washington to raise a family of my own. I am happily married to my wife Barbara (who is much more intelligent than me). I have five great kids, Isaac, Anna Laura, Michael, Sarah and Rachel. I love to ski, cycle and my favorite tradition is an annual hike around Mount Rainier on the Wonderland Trail with my family. I truly believe that our natural resources, innovative businesses and decent hard working people make this the best place to call home. I am proud to represent my community in Olympia.
