On 21 Aug 1979 I joined the Army and while enlisted served in many locations and positions. In 1989 while stationed in Germany I met and married my wife Susanne we have three (3) daughters and one (1) son. In 1995 while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, I managed the largest maintenance facility in the Army consisting of 79 personnel (of which 42 were DOD civilians) and a budget in access of 4.2 million. I was responsible for the maintenance of over 1700 pieces of equipment. Under my management, the maintenance facility went through a series of inspections culminating in being named 鈥淏est Maintenance Facility in the Army.鈥�
