Coordination of activities surrounding the pilot planning meetings, pilot design development,

Coordinate the work and schedule of 8 state trainers to provide 140 sessions of hands-on training for the

Provided training and technical assistance to school foodservice directors regarding the 1996 USDA
Nutrition Regulations for school nutrition programs. Primary focus included computerized management
of school menus based on nutrient analysis.
Accomplishments:
Facilitated the CACFP review team to develop a threshold based system for incorporating the
serious deficiency process into the monitoring site visit review results.
Developed a workplan template and evaluation criteria rubrics for collection and evaluation of the
Fresh Fruit and Vegetable competitive grants in Minnesota.
Lead the applications & claims team in the organization of a 3-year management plan binder for
multi-site sponsors; which included the development of questions to determine VCA.
Prepared an Excel spreadsheet template to be used by all child care food program sponsoring
authorities in MN for the annual submission of a detailed budget to the State agency.
Facilitated the design of several IT initiatives to streamline daily work, implement regulations, and
