Jacob Lehrbaum is Director of Product Marketing at Engine Yard and has marketed application platforms and open source technologies to developers for over a decade. Prior to joining the company, Jacob was Principal Product Director at Oracle (through its acquisition of Sun Microsystems) where he was responsible for a wide range of Java platforms and technologies designed for server, desktop, mobile, embedded and digital television devices. Jacob joined Sun Microsystems in 2006 after six years at embedded Linux pioneer MontaVista Software, where he was responsible for a variety of products for the embedded and mobile markets including the first Linux OS designed for use in mobile handsets.
