With his wife, Barbara, and a group of bio-science, technology, business and community-building Advisors, John founded Mycologie SPC, a CA-based social-purpose corporation that balances profit and public benefit. Mycologie helps businesses, non-profits, community groups and individuals "roll up their sleeves"​ to create innovative, sustainable, bio-inspired MycoPLACES [TM].
Myclogie extends purely place-based strategies to support local, regional and global collaborative-action. Its mission is to provide democratized access to the power of this ecosystem to create wealth and well-being for all people.
