Jorge B. Silva joined the Department of Civil Engineering at IST in 1987 where is has worked ever since. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (1999) and M.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning (1990) from the Technical University of Lisbon where he currently is Assistant Professor. He is a Senior Researcher at CESUR and has over 20 year鈥檚 professional experience in the area of Urban and Regional Planning, Evaluation and Monitoring and has been a consultant in numerous projects dealing with land use plans, urban road networks planning and mobility systems.
