Joan Carlini is a PhD candidate with the Department of Marketing, Griffith University. In the past, she has worked extensively in the fields of marketing and hospitality. For the past ten years, Joan has worked in international student marketing, online marketing and more recently in academia as research assistant and marketing and tourism tutor.
Her previous experience in hospitality dates back to completing a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Hotel Management where Joan then worked as chef and restaurant manager at leading Gold Coast properties.
