Jocelle Batapa-Sigue is Chair of the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP), a network of thirty-five information and communications technology (ICT) councils, federations and organizations representing cities and provinces from all regions of the country. Established in 2007, NICP aims to strengthen the national economy by promoting foreign and local ICT related investment and development; generating new ICT business; increasing ICT awareness and increasing collaboration and private-public partnerships to promote countryside development.
