Joe Wachs is a hybrid artist based in New York City. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts and Poetry from Lewis & Clark College and an MA in Performance + Technology Studies from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Currently, he is Artistic Director of Hybrid, an interdisciplinary studio in New York City, and is the General Editor for First Fifteen [F15]. He lives with his wife Sussan Simin and little boy Daryus Jase in West Harlem, New York.
