In 1990, at the age of 18, during my 1st year in College in De La Salle University, I started my events management career by founding "Concepts Plus." But the industry wasn't really ready yet for below-the-line events marketing. Three years later, I lost money and was down to my last P30,000 pesos. I decided to shift careers and manage a band called "Orient Pearl". It was during that time that I was able to compose the song "We Can Make It" which was later translated to Tagalog and entitled "Pagsubok".
