After completing my electrical engineering degree at Auburn University, I had the good fortune of serving in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. I dragged Genye, Susan and Scott around the world, living in England, Thailand and throughout the United States in flying, research and development and Pentagon assignments.
I felt I had a mission! Then when I retired, I continued that mission to serve the country by joining a missile defense contractor Hughes Aircraft Company (which merged later with Raytheon). For 16 years I helped the Department of Defense cooperate with 26 allied nations around the world with the goal that they would be strong coalition partners.
