After graduation I worked for a while on construction jobs. A trade was my first goal so I got into college in 1977 and took a 6 month Heavy Duty Mechanic pre-app course. A month later got hired at a local copper mine and started my apprenticeship. Starving for experience I got a job 12 hours north and finished my apprenticeship at a fast paced Commercial Truck shop. Since then I've worked in mining, truck shops and dealerships leading to my present job at the School District. Writing has always been a passion especially on the technical side of mechanical systems and fleet operations. Sharing my experience in this field is very rewarding. I hope I can enlighten the curious who stop by
