Dr. Han is a renowned library and information scientist with long list of accomplishment. He also lectured for 15 years as a professor and acquired a rich teaching experience. He is currently a Director of Ocean Science Library at the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology.
At the Ocean Science Library, Dr. Han established a world-class ocean science R&D databank and currently serves as a chief manager of the National Ocean Science Library in South Korea. Especially, he designed the Oceanographic Digital Library (ODL), which provides professional research information service to the general public and ocean scientists.
