Within it is the date of the magazine issue and also the price of the magazine. There is a set of puns in the main sell lines as they all relate to the movie. ‘What’s cooking?’ refers to the main characters cannibalism and ‘Gore blimey’ also suggests that the movie is full of blood and gore. The skyline also advertises another article, which may draw other viewers to read the magazine
The main image is of the antagonist and we can tell that they are the element of horror with their yellow skin and red eyes. Halfo of his face is shadowed, creating an element of mystery. Is there something about this character that isn’t normal? The light is focusing mostly on the right and highlights his eye, whereas the darkness is away from this point, even the background of the magazine. Topics that aren’t related to the horror genre are also advertised, which shows that my magazine does not have to be purely a horror one. It is better that they are featured on the opposite side of the page so as not to confuse readers about their genres and whether they are related to Hannibal.

It also shows me that this magazine is not a horror magazine, but the main article is about a new horror.

She appears to be the average popular high school cheerleader, but the blood on her fingers and in her footprint shows that there is something not normal about her. It suggests that she is the person who has hurt someone and not the damsel in distress. The content that is not related to the main image is featured on the right of the page. This is so that people not interested in the main film can be drawn to other content in the magazine. It also helps to prevent people getting confused as to what film is on the cover. The main sell lines are featured on the left, so that people will be drawn to them before the other sell lines. It also helps to make clear that these articles are related to the main image, so people can then look in the contents to find the articles about the main image. The colours also match the uniform in the main image and help create a house style,
