Grounding himself for the first time in his life in KC in 99, Jonny5 (Jim) learned about liquid dance and the modern pop-n-lock dance styles. It would be years before he progressed to breaking and now DJing. In that time period he had the chance to be inspired by Mark Farina, DJ Icey, Deadmau5, Dave Aude, David Guetta, and rock groups like The Faint, MSTRKFT, MGMT, and Postal Service. By 2006 Jonny5 had DJed at several shows and played with his friends at after-bars through-out Missouri. Diving into the new Indie sound, the old Electro vibe, and the orchestration of Deep House, Jonny5 b
