Dr. Juan J. Gaitero: Deg. Physics (2002), PhD Materials Engineering (2008). He joined NANOC in 2002, initially as PhD student and since 2006 as project manager. During this time, he has taken part in numerous research projects, and his main fields of expertise are cement composites, nanoparticles and related characterisation techniques. Furthermore, he has also taken part in cement modelling projects and worked occasionally with other materials like steel or glass fibres. He is an active member of the cement research community having published several peer review papers and taking part in conferences all over the world.
