Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana... I graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Biology on May 15, 2005. Go Coogs!
Medical school turned out more difficult than I had anticipated. After passing the first two years without much incident, I couldn't pass the USMLE Step I in summer 2007. And in the year and a half following, I failed to pass the exam in two more attempts, leading to my dismissal from the school of medicine in December 2008.
