My objective as an artist and educator is to join in a mutual enlightenment of my audience whether it is a passerby or a student. In person I am a very demanding, sometimes brusque, but I want the best out of everyone, especially my students. This is sometimes at odds with how well I am able to accomplish certain tasks, I am still learning as a teacher but I hope to get better. Each year of teaching has been better than the last, just ask my colleagues. There’s just only so much time to devote and I often find myself pouring myself into my teaching.
