It took me a long time to come to grips with the fact that I am a nerd at heart. I like things that other people think are weird. Here is what I mean... I am passionate about smelly, ugly, nasty, tired, old, distressed dwellings. I love being in and around them, I love analyzing them and I love the process of restoring them to their former glory; a process I affectionately refer to as "redeeming wretched houses".
