Jannick Rolland received a Diploma from the Institut D'Optique in 1984, and MS and Ph.D. (1990) degrees in Optical Science from the University of Arizona. Prior positions include head of the Vision Research Group for Medical Displays at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1992-1996), and Professor of Optics at the University of Central Florida (1996-2008). In 2009, she joined the Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester as The Brian J. Thompson Professor of Optics and Associate Director of the R.E.
