My name is Juan Larrosa and I am a Mexican scholar, concentrated on the study and research of communication. I was born in Mexico City, but I have lived most of my life in Guadalajara City.
Communication has been the center of my professional labor: first, I worked as a journalist working in Jalisco’s radio stations and newspapers (Público, Radio Universidad de Guadalajara, El Puente), then as part of different non-profit organizations dedicated to the human rights defense (Cepad & Amedi Jalisco), and finally, as a professor and researcher in different universities (ITESO y Universidad de Guadalajara).
