I work as environmental and industrial microbiologist. I am married, have got two children and three grandchildren. I like music and arts as well as resting in our quiet summer cottage. My best friend is our son, Aarne (see profile picture).
I was born in the fortress of Lappeenranta (true!) in the year 1951, not so many years after the "final" of 2nd World War. After it, I have lived my youngster years, filled of interests, in the relative quiet cities of Imatra and Joutseno : writing, drawing, playing tenor sax...I still like my 40 years's profession as a microbiologist.
