I was born and raised in Namibia and now live in Edenvale near
Johannesburg, South Africa. I am married to Heidi and we have a son Sven.
I have 'lost' one eye to cancer and was retrenched after 25 years in the explosives industry. I am fluent in 4 languages: Zulu, Afrikaans, German, English.
I qualified as a Mechanical and Industrial Engineer, and have 36 years’ experience in SAFETY, mass production, manufacturing, mining and productivity improvement. I am an authority on communication and people behaviour, especially across cultures.
My bias is towards action, and setting high standards, with ambitious visions of the future. I give and expect excellence, trust and integrity,
