Big Data & Analytics is an organization wide initiative to build Hadoop based multi-tenant platform based on data-lake architecture to serve multiple business units with their Big Data & analytics needs. Based on Hortonworks HDP 2.1 distribution, we have built the platform ground up on a private cloud (Verizon CAAS) and is in production with few solutions.
My Responsibilities includes, Managing development teams, Installation / configuration & Management of Production & Development Hadoop clusters, Evaluate new use-cases and develop POCs, Capacity Planning & Performance optimization of Hadoop 2.1.
