As a self-taught UX and Service Designer, who has a formal educational background in Mechanical Engineering, I strive to use the product and systems design principles taught by my degree and apply that stringent thinking to both improving my skills as a designer and to building a business with interdisciplinary challenges.
The most important skill my degree gave me is that it taught me how to learn. I'd like to hone my skills as a Service Designer while I simultaneously learn the principles and apply them in practice to my company.
