This document outlines a webquest for 3rd grade students about animal habitats. It instructs students to work with a partner to research characteristics of a specific habitat using online resources. Introduction
Just like Humans, animals need a place to call home. The term for an animals
home is its habitat.
Task
You and a partner will research different sites and games to compile information
and make a list of characteristics of a certain habitat.
Process
1. I will give each student a partner.
2. You and your partner will brainstorm at least five ideas of what you think a
habitat consists of.
3. You will then go to the below links to see what ideas are correct and also
what ideas you can add to this list.
4. We will come in and discuss as a class what we came up with.
5. Start working on diorama.
