K. Boodhoo holds a Master in Tropical Animal Production from the University of Queensland, Australia. He has attended several training workshops related to animal production. He is currently the Officer in Charge of the Agricultural Production and Systems Department of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mauritius. Before he joined the University in year 2000 he was a research scientist in the livestock research department(1990-2000) at the Agricultural Research and Extension Unit (AREU).
