Mongolia or bust - help me make it there!
I have been accepted as a rider in the 2013 Mongol Derby, as one of 35 riders from around the world. I can only make it if I find sponsorship to aid me with airfare, race entry, and travel expenses. My goal is to be the first woman to win this race, but I need help to do it! This is a veterinarian-monitored charity race of 1000 kilometers across the Mongol Steppe. I will be riding local horses, staying with Mongolian families or camping out each night, and experiencing an epic level of chafing.
