I saw a license plate last night that announced "XEDUC8R." I don't know what I would do if I had to stop teaching. I learn something every day about myself and about how to communicate with kids effectively. I get better at it every year, and I love every day of it, even the hard days. I make mistakes; I do great things. But I can't imagine not doing it, and I hope I am never an ex-educator.
