日本と米国で、有機化学研究、天然物化学研究、及び計算化学に取り組んできました。文献?特許の調査から合成ルートの立案、化合物の構造?物性?反応解析など一連の経験があります。特に医薬や材料の基本骨格として重要な複素環化合物を多く扱ってきました（スライド”Major Work Experience”を参照）。
また、化学者向けの研究紹介だけでなく、近年は一般向けの自主勉強会なども行っています（スライド“勉強会記録リスト“を参照）。
化学を通した社会貢献に最も関心があり、これからは研究よりも英語?化学に関する啓発活動にもっと力を入れていきたいと考えています。
Experience: Organic Chemistry mainly forcused on the synthesis of heteroaromatics such as pyridines, which have unique chemical properties and thus are widely applied as drugs, agrochemicals, and materials. Also worked on bioloactive natural products.
