Kecapi( read as ka-tchup-pee) is dedicated to the sweet savoury memories of Indonesian hawker food, and its fans.
The night strolls and the petroleum lamps, gerobak* and the long queue of hungry tummies. Whether for stomach, a few laughters or a piece of mind, food was always in the context.
Kecapi is derived from the Indonesian word kecap (n) the cap cap sound created while one mouth is engaged in tasting, chewing, and enjoying foods, hence the diatric above the c in the logo .
If you look into a dictionary, you might never find the word kecapi.Thats right we are a rebel!
