Kees Verweij (1967) is Principal Consultant Freight Transport and Logistics. His drive is to find innovative solutions for clients in the field of transport and logistics. He works for private companies as well as for non-profit and governmental organisations.
He is actively involved in the adoption of synchromodal transport by European logistics service providers, advises port areas on optimal inland intermodal services and works for regions and countries on getting the most out of logistics activities. He writes a monthly column in the largest logistics trade magazine in the Netherlands (2005 to now).
