I was a smartass nerd then, I'm more of one now.
I've done lots of things that no one has ever done. and some things that no one will ever do. The most amazing things i have ever seen were other people doing the most ordinary things well or different or better, with no effort at all. and sometimes life itself is just amazing if you know what you're seeing.
