Whether we think about it or not, all of us will one day face the reality of death. Because death is a certainty, a wise person will prepare for it. In order to do that, we must know five truths that the Bible says:
I. All Men Are Sinners
Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
The fact is, all are sinners in the sight of God. Some have sinned more and some have sinned less -- but ALL have sinned!
II. Penalty Of Sin Is Death
Rom 6:23, For the wages of sin is death
Sin must be paid for -- and the Bible declares that the price is death. The Bible teaches that there are two deaths: the physical and the spiritual death.
