This document provides a checklist for evaluating a website across 10 different components, including whether the main purpose is identifiable, key messages are evident, there is a clear call to action, the content is well-written and free of errors, the content is fresh and easy to understand, contact information is easy to find, the amount of content is appropriate, the site is easy for the owner to update, the source code is search engine friendly, photos correspond to captions, and the site compares favorably to top competitors. Scores from 1 to 5 are assigned for each component, with 1 being bad and 5 being good.
