I grew up all over the world, but spent a lot of my childhood in Knoxville, Tennessee. I began my career in publishing and marketing, but decided to become a teacher after volunteering with kids in Chicago. I moved to Florida to get my Master's and met my husband Mike. We were married in 2006 and moved to St. Louis immediately after our honeymoon. Mike has since received a transfer to Knoxville, Tennessee and I am now back home! We have two dogs named Boudreaux and Gaspar. We don't have kids yet, but are still hopeful that we will be blessed with them.
