Sound engineer to the stars and the children of the stars in both the live sound and recording arenas. I got started simply as someone who would bootleg other people's sound reinforcement work for trading purposes. After several years of touring as a live sound engineer I'm working on my fourth Shawn Mullins release (Shawn's 12th). I started as an assistant and moved through the ranks to engineer.
I dabble in a few instruments, have mastered none.
Ninety percent of my job as a live sound engineer is acoustical analysis and system optimization. Once the sound system is correctly balanced the mixing comes easy.
