I am a music librarian and composer. Before making the change to librarianship, I closed my earlier career in music education with two years as a Fulbright lecturing scholar in Beirut, Lebanon. In addition to library work and teaching, I have done performing, translating, editing, and non-profit work. Travels have found me following the trail of Medieval music in France, learning about a new music-culture in Burkina Faso, exploring music shops in Istanbul, or composing in beautiful Beirut.
