I am a Physics faculty and researcher (Membrane biophysics-material physics) working on interdisciplinary projects with solid-state NMR spectroscopy as an experimental tool and nurturing young researchers.
Research Experience:
- Biophysical chemistry (Biophysics of biomembranes and membrane proteins)
- Chemical Physics (material synthesis, characterization and study of phase transitions)
- Material science (Super-ionic conductors, quantum rotational tunneling)
- Solid state NMR (Structure, second moment, and molecular dynamics study)
- Operation and maintenance of NMR spectrometers, high power RF amplifiers, and low frequency NMR probe-head design and fabrication.
