Kimo began working in the music industry as a keyboardist for a Capitol Records Recording Artist for 2 years.
Between touring, songwriting and studio sessions, Kimo worked for Capitol Records where he learned the Business of Music from his mentor who taught him that Music was an adjective to describe the business. Over the next several years Kimo applied this principal to his music, business and life.
After leaving Capitol Records, he formed Solopro Music Inc. The company provided production services and songwriting for established and developing artists. During this time Kimo worked closely with notable industry power players.
