I have always been fascinated with people – what inspires them and why they do the things they do. This has led to my interest in stories and brands. Brands, fueled by story, captivate, cajole, irritate, and fill us with hope. We see ourselves through brands, and develop a shared worldview.
Yet brands are not real; they exist only through our willingness to believe. Only a powerful story can create an emotional connection with something that doesn’t exist. Brands gain their power through story.
