Advantages include: Reduced broker fees and Merchandizing Processing Fee with weekly entry feature Elimination of Merchandizing Processing Fee and US Customs duty for re-exported cargo Eliminate inventory taxes Imported components assembled within a FTZ can chose to be declared as components or finished products for Customs duty rate Elimination of duty for labor, overhead and profit performed in a FTZ Deferral of US quota Ability to add value to goods and avoid US quota Zone to zone transfers
