Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi (KnK) or Children without Borders was established in September 1997 by Medicins Sans Frontierres Japan (MSF-J) to implement educational program for the street children, children in conflict with the law and youth in some areas of Quezon City and Caloocan City. It became an independent non-profit organization in November 2000. As such, KnK was registered as KOKKYO NAKI KODOMOTACHI serving as a branch office of KnK-International with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (S.E.C.) in 2002 with registration number A200118280.
