Born in Nicosia, Pambos Kouzalis has studied Archaeology and History of Art at the Athens University. Since 1998 he teaches Greek literature in public schools. In 2009 he completed his Master in Classical Studies at the Open University UK. Subject: "The use of wreaths and garlands in the ancient Greek tragedies".
