Karen Shein is mental health program manager for the Noble Works program of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) San Diego, an organization dedicated to the lives of individuals affected by mental illness and their family members. Karen is co-chair of San Diego's Jewish Family Service Behavioral Health Committee, serves on the board of San Diego's Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), is mental health coordinator for Congregation Beth Israel's Caring Community and is founder and chair of Beth Israel's Mental Illness GPS Committee.
