I’m an award-winning journalist with more than 20 years experience in North America and Asia. Before joining NerdWallet, was previously a feature writer for the Wall Street Journal and a senior homepage editor-Asia business producer for CNN.com International based in Hong Kong. Before relocating back to the United States, was on the adjunct staff of the University of Hong Kong’s Journalism and Media Studies Centre for four years. Taught English in rural Japanese high schools for four years in the 1990s.
