I grew up in Glendale, Kentucky, a quaint little railroad town south of Louisville. The town is known for its fine southern cuisine and numerous antique shops.
I started in radio at 16 and continued on air work through college at Western Kentucky University. I completed my senior internship in Washington, DC in the office of US Rep. Ron Lewis and started my first post college job as a press/staff assistant for US Rep. Roscoe Bartlett. I also worked for the United Broadcasting Network as a producer for a couple of syndicated talk shows and later crossed over to television and worked my way up the ladder as producer for Major Garret, senior White House Correspondent and executive producer
