Dr. Henry is the Dean of the Seidel School of Education and Professor in the Doctoral Studies in Literacy Department at Salisbury University. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Henry served as Associate Dean of Clinical Preparation and Partnerships and Interim Department Chair of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky. She came to Salisbury University after 11 years at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Henry is originally from Connecticut where she began her career as a middle school teacher. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in special education, a Master of Arts in education, and a Ph.D. in Cognition and Instruction with an emphasis on literacy
