For more than 20 years, Ernest Landante, Jr. has successfully represented elected leaders in New Jersey and consulted executives of major U.S. corporations. He directed public communications for New Jersey Assembly Speaker Chuck Hardwick, Assemblyman Rodney P. Frelinghuysen, Assemblyman Jack Penn and State Senator William Gormley. However, Mr. Landante is likely to be remembered for leading the unlikely re-election of the late Assemblywoman Joann H. Smith of Old Bridge, N.J.
